Our Extra-Grade Rhodonite XL Tumbled Stones are standout mineral specimens sourced from Madagascar. Rhodonite is prized in the mineralogical world for its vivid, "gemmy" pink coloration, which provides a high-contrast aesthetic when paired with its natural black matrix. Mineral Composition: Unlike Rhodochrosite, which is known for its banding, Rhodonite is characterized by solid saturation of pink manganese silicate encased in a dark, often dendritic, manganese oxide matrix. In these extra-grade specimens, the pink and black tones are approximately evenly balanced, creating bold, graphic patterns that are unique to every piece. Shape and Finish: These stones have been meticulously worked to enhance their natural beauty. Each piece was first cut into a thick, rough oval before being tumbled and polished to a high-gloss, glass-like finish. Rock Crystal / Clear Quartz XL Tumbled Stones These are very good quality clear quartz pebbles. They are not precisely flat ovals, like our "soapstones," nor are they spheres, but they're somewhere in the middle of the two, and made of pure quartz, with no other minerals or matrix. With only a few veils/inclusions, these are all transparent. A variety of uses! Size: from about 1 1/5 - 2 3/4" long, about 1 to 2" wide, and about 1/2 to 1 1/2" thick. 5 - 7 pieces per pound. Rock Crystal Tumbled Stones - A Grade This high-grade quartz has a few inclusions, and is very clear with few clouds inside. A classic rock, good tumbled in a comfortable size.  Rock Crystal Tumbled Stones - Mini These clear quartz mini tumbled stones are super nice! They're a bright, shiny white. Very pure, with no inclusions, and a uniform appearance. Good for gem trees, miniature landscape scenes like fairy gardens or model railroads, Zen gardens, candle bowls, jewelry, rock art, and other arts-and-crafts projects.    Size: 1/2 inch, on average.  Rose Quartz XL Oval Tumbled Stones - 1 Pound These rose quartz oval pebbles, or palm stones, display a range of pink colors, from pale pink, to deep pink. All have a fairly good clarity; none is completely opaque. Some show asterism on the most curved surfaces! They are shaped from roughly round to oval and they are flatter than they are thick, like flattened eggs or spheres, making them very comfortable to hold or use.     Size: from about 1 3/4 to 2 1/2 inches long.  Ruby Fuchsite Shaped Tumbled Stones - 1 pound These fuchsite tumbled stones are the classic green with red rubies. Also known as "chrome mica," sparkles of mica are frequently seen interspersed in the fuchsite, which ranges from darker to lighter green. These pieces were hand-shaped and lightly hand-polished. Some have a cut as though they were intended for jewelry or for board game pieces, being cubic or blocky in nature, or are meant to be carved or made into cabochons.   Size: from about 1 inch up to 1 3/4 inches long, and from about 3/8 to 1 inch thick. Rutilated Quartz Tumbled Stones - 1 pound These are some of the famous rutilated quartz tumbled pieces from Brazil. Always a rarity, rutilated quartz is recognized by its bright golden titanium needles in the clear/white quartz.  Every single piece contains rutile, but some needles may be thin. Sephtonite (Bloodstone) Tumbled Stones Sephtonite is the metaphysical name given to Bloodstone from South Africa. Bloodstone is a green jasper with red inclusions. This specific type occurs in South Afrika and is called Sephtonite. Price per 1 lb

Septarian Nodule XL Tumbled Stones - 1 Pound  Beautiful, unique, hand-polished septarian nodule pebbles. Each one has its own pattern! Different shades of gold, gray/brown, and deep brown complement each other like no other stone. The gold and deep brown aragonite are translucent and glow in the sunlight. The pebbles are similar in shape but not identical.    Size: The pebbles yield 3-5 pieces per pound.
