Gemstone Spheres
Spheres always impress with their geometrically perfect shape and unusual combination of light reflection and refraction. All spheres we offer are cut from REAL, natural rough stones, such as rock crystal. Since natural quartz is very hard and a lot of material is used to grind the balls, spheres are rather costly. The price depends on the size and on the purity of the gemstone.
We offer different semi-precious gemstone spheres in various sizes - by the pound or by the piece. To ensure that the spheres stand well and securely, please place them on a suitable stand (e.g. a ring or a ball stand).
Golden Quartz Spheres These unusual quartz spheres have a strong golden color, but they do not contain citrine. Their golden color is caused by iron inclusions which usually occur in flat layers in the spheres. Some also have few clear, white orr dark gray quartz patches mixed in. All have a certain degree of transparency; none are completely opaque. A unique quartz representation for collectors. Size: from about 1 to about 2 inches in diameter. Unit for sale: 1 pound - about 3 - 6 spheres per pound Mined and made in Madagascar.
Bring the ancient, grounding energy of the wild into your collection with our Kambaba Jasper Spheres. Often called "Crocodile Jasper" due to its dark, reptilian-like patterns, this stone is a favorite among collectors for its exotic appearance and mysterious origins. Geological Intrigue: Sourced exclusively from Madagascar, Kambaba Jasper is a unique volcanic rock (Rhyolite) characterized by its deep forest-green base and swirling black orbicular "eyes." While long debated to be a fossilized stromatolite, geological analysis confirms it is a stunning igneous formation, composed of a complex mix of Quartz, Feldspar, and Aegirine. Exotic Aesthetics & Finish: Each sphere is hand-polished to a high-gloss finish, allowing the intricate, swirling "eyes" and chaotic green patterns to take center stage. Because the material is exceptionally tough and fine-grained, it takes a superior polish that feels smooth and substantial in the hand. Versatile Applications: Nature-Inspired Decor: The earthy tones make these spheres a perfect addition to botanical displays, terrariums, or dark-wood shelving. Unique Collector Items: No two spheres are alike; each displays a different "landscape" of black orbs and green swirls. Note: Sale is for one (1) sphere. Stand is not included. Rock Type: Kambaba Rhyolite/Jasper Origin: Madagascar Diameter: Approx. 1.5" – 2" Sales Unit: 1 piece

Rose Quartz Star Spheres Star rose quartz - the famous deep pink variety from Madagascar! These rose quartz spheres show the asterism for which the Madagascar rose quartz is so famous. When a single-source light, such as the sun, a halogen or a LED, shines directly on the sphere, a white 4- or 6-rayed star appears on the surface where the light is shining. This is a phenomenon attributed to the unique alignment of titanium and iron fibers that occurred during the formation of the rose quartz. All of these spheres are a great quality, with good coloration in various shades of pink, a high polish and good condition. Size: from about 1 1/15 to 3' in diameter. Experience the classic beauty and mesmerizing light-play of our Tiger Eye Spheres. Sourced from the world-renowned deposits in South Africa, these spheres showcase the finest qualities of this metamorphic rock—specifically its remarkable "chatoyancy" (the cat's-eye effect). Quality & Authenticity: These spheres are made from 100% solid, natural Tiger Eye. They are completely untreated, meaning they have not been dyed or heat-treated to achieve their rich color. Because Tiger Eye naturally forms in flat seams, these spheres often feature a thin layer of natural brown matrix at the "poles," acting as dark caps that anchor the swirling golden bands. Craftsmanship: Tiger Eye is a famously tough and fibrous stone. Carving it into a perfectly balanced sphere while preserving the internal reflective fibers requires expert lapidary skill. The results are high-gloss specimens where the golden and chocolate-brown bands appear to shift and move as the sphere is rotated. Versatile Applications: Executive Decor: At 40 mm (approx. 1.5 inches), these are the perfect size for desk displays, "worry balls," or inclusion in high-end mineral collections. Photography & Art: The way these spheres interact with light makes them a favorite for creative photography and artistic focal points. Retail Classics: Tiger Eye is a perennial best-seller in gift shops and museum stores due to its universal appeal and recognizable "shimmer." Sizing and Specifications: Diameter: Approximately 40 mm (1.5 inches). Origin: South Africa. Note: Sale is for one (1) sphere. Stand is not included. Mineral: Natural Tiger Eye Origin: South Africa Diameter: 40 mm (approx. 1.5") Treatment: None (Natural, Undyed) Sales Unit: 1 piece
