Small Amethyst Loose Crystals These nice amethyst crystals are loose, not part of a geode. They are completely natural: uncut, unpolished and not heated - they are in excellent condition. Many are a nice size and shape for wire-wrapping or other jewelry making. Some tend to have white tails, so they are usually not completely purple from top to tip. Size: 1 inch to 2 inch long.  Natural Kyanite Individual Crystals These individual kyanite crystals, called blades, display the light to medium blue so typical of good, common kyanite. A few are a dark blue, a few are gemmy, but most have various blue colors with a reflective, silvery sheen. These are NOT clusters but individual blades made up of tiny, rigid hairlike growths. Most are long, thin blades, with barely a trace of the quartz matrix.   Size: mostly smaller pieces, from about 1/2 up to about 1 1/2 inches long.  WARNING: These are fragile and break easily.  Labradorite Small Rough Stones These are nice solid chunks of pure, classic labradorite, the classic gray-green color. All have the potential for good color - even if they don't look like that. After tumbling they show much more color than expected!May contain patches of black mica or other concurrently-appearing minerals.  Size: about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long and about 1 - 1 1/2 inches wide.  Magnesite Small Rough Stones 1-2 Inches This is the classic white (undyed) magnesite (also called howlite), in small pieces. Each piece displays some of the gray spiderwebbing pattern common to magnesite. Very pure; no other mineral inclusions or matrix. Thulite Raw Stones Chips - 1 lb Formally known as thulite-piemonite, thulite is a rare pink variety of zoisite and was named in the 19th century after the mythical island of Thule (Norway). The best and most significant deposits of thulite in the world are found in Norway, where its availability is greatly limited due to the weather and remote location. It is also very difficult to reach, as it is on a high plateau surrounded by swampland.  In contrast to the stone often called thulite in the USA, which usually contains only a very small percentage of actual thulite, our supply is nearly pure, and a very high quality, thulite.
