Mineral Composition:
Unlike Rhodochrosite, which is known for its banding, Rhodonite is characterized by solid saturation of pink manganese silicate encased in a dark, often dendritic, manganese oxide matrix. In these extra-grade specimens, the pink and black tones are approximately evenly balanced, creating bold, graphic patterns that are unique to every piece.
Shape and Finish:
