Natural Agate Tumbled Stones - 1 Pound Here is one pound of tumbled, NATURAL, undyed agates from Brazil. All have banding; none is just clear chalcedony. Some are more translucent than others due to their thickness; some have a little quartz attached; some are gray, some are reddish like carnelian, and some have predominant black banding. All are a very good quality with a great polish! Size: from about 3/4 to 1" long, about 5/8 to 1" wide, and about 3/4 to 7/8" thick. About 20-30 pieces per pound. Amethyst Chevron Tumbled Stones - 1 Pound These very unique amethyst tumbled stones are a newer find from South Africa. Stripes of white quartz alternate randomly within the purple amethyst creating a gorgeous contrast between deep purple and bright white. Each is truly unique! Polished Amethyst Towers/Points/Obelisks Every single piece of these polished amethyst crystals (towers, obelisks) has been cut by hand. They have different sizes - from small to tall. As with most natural stones, inclusions are present - they are sparkling very beautiful in the light and make every piece unique! Ametrine Tumbled Stones Beautiful pieces of natural ametrine, which is a mix of amethyst with spots of citrine naturally mixed with it! They look purplish from a distance but with areas of golden citrine mixed in. This is not the bright orange citrine of the heated amethyst, but the dull yellow of the rare, natural citrine. Very few cloudy patches from white quartz or quartz inclusions. The pieces tend to be more long and thin, matching the natural crystal shape, rather than thick and round. Many are suitable for wire-wrapping or other forms of jewelry or arts and crafts and decor; also a nice size for holding in the hand or pocket. Apricot Agate Agate Tumbled Stones These agates are a light bubblegum pink with light pink, orange, and white banding in the classic botswana agate way. Due to this exceptional, natural pink color and the typical bandings, these agates are extraordinarily beautiful. They have a convienient size and a very good final polish. Aquamarine Tumbled Stones A/B Grade These tumbled stones show several shades of very light blue to light blue-green. They are very pure aquamarine, with NO matrix attached or other minerals included. Aquamarine is a dense, heavy gemstone and very durable. Many pieces are suitable for wire wrapping into jewelry pendants, especially since they retained their natural crystal shape, which is long and thin. Shiny but lightly tumbled. Blue Aventurine Tumbled Stones These aventurine stones are a natural, medium blue to blue/gray. They appear opaque because of their thickness. The stones have streaks of royal blue and patches of lighter blue to white scattered over them - completely natural and undyed. Due to the natural high mica content, most have tiny sparkles in a bright light. Many creative uses! Size: about 1 - 1 1/2" long, about 3/4 to 1" wide, and about 3/8 to 3/4" thick. Green Aventurine Tumbled Stones This aventurine tends to be a deep green, not a pale green, fairly uniform in color. It has specks and even veins of sparkly mica running through it. The pieces are well polished and very smooth and nice to hold! Some natural color streaking and zoning and traces of mineral inclusions occur, but no matrix. Size: from about 1 to 1 1/2 inches long. Baltic Amber, Tumble-Polished, Mini This is classic Baltic amber, deep golden and translucent. Famous for millenia, Baltic amber continues to be a popular choice for jewelry as it is lightweight and polishable, and glows like translucent gold in the sunlight. Natural variance occurs, as the pieces range from deep orange to medium yellow to ivory, with the odd greenish or dark piece also present. Average piece size is 1/4". Black Tourmaline (Schorl) Tumbled Stones Tourmaline is a traditional part of every rock collection! It is also a basic stone for wire wrapping and jewelry making as its solid color matches most looks, and those who appreciate stone energy love it. These pieces are dense and heavy, as well as being solid. Some pits on the surfaces makes them look sparkly from a distance and sometimes shows partial crystal faces. Blue Lace Agate Tumbled Stones - 1 Pound These blue lace tumbled stones are the classic Namibian blue lace: a nice periwinkle color, all with nice banding and few or no fractures. Some macrocrystalline quartz crystals formed on top of some of the veins, but otherwise there are no mineral inclusions. NO MATRIX - PURE AGATE! With a good polish, they're a nice size and comfortable to carry in the hand or pocket. Some of the smaller, flatter ones are suitable for wire-wrapping or other jewelry endeavors. Botswana Agate Tumbled Stones - 1 pound Every last one of these nice Botswana agates has banding - there are no duds! Some also have tubes or other agate features. Grey is the dominant color, although many have a darker background color and bright white bands for a striking contrast. There are also some rosy shades too. A very nice polish and very few fractures make these a great addition to every rock collection and rock shop! Some are suitable for wire wrapping jewelry pendants! Brecciated Jasper Tumbled Stones Brecciated comes from 'breccia' and is a geological term used to identify rock composed of broken fragments cemented together by nature. Red Aventurine (Strawberry Quartz) Tumbled Stones This light red/reddish quartz has little sparkles of tiny mica within each piece, just as green aventurine does. This is more translucent than green aventurine and glows in the sunlight, somewhat like strawberries do! Some of the pieces could be wire-wrapped or made into other jewelry. Black Tourmaline XL Tumbled Stones / Pebbles - 1 lb These Black Tourmaline pebbles were tumbled though they will not have a glassy finish like some polished stones due to the lines that Tourmaline naturally forms. Yellow Aventurine Tumbled Stones These yellow aventurine tumbled stones are translucent and showcase very appealing warm yellow/golden/light orange tones. Less sparkly than the traditional green aventurine, this color is not as common but just as beautiful. The grain, or growth pattern, is visible in many pieces. Many decorative, jewelry and lapidary purposes! Size: from about 3/4" up to 1 3/8" long. Pieces tend to be more blocky and angular than slim. About 35 - 41 pieces per pound.
