Golden Quartz XL Tumbled Stones These unusual quartz tumbled stones have a strong golden color, but are not at all citrine. Their golden color comes from iron inclusions which mostly occurs in flat layers throughout the stones, and some also have some clear/white/dark gray quartz patches mixed in. All have some transparency; none are completely opaque. A unique quartz presentation for collectors and decor! Size: ranges from about 1 1/2 inches to 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Mookaite Jasper Tumbled Stones Mookaite is a fine porcelain jasper from Australia, a good, tough, durable stone with many lapidary purposes. What makes it so unique is its colors, which range from maroon to red, tan/gold to creamy white. Many pieces appear to be banded with many combinations of these colors. Some pieces hold traces of an orange inclusion, black dendrites and/or quartz veins. Size: about 1 - 1.5 inches x 1 - 1.5 inches. About 10 - 14 pieces per pound. Black Moonstone Black Moonstone is a variety of feldspar. The color range is from darker brown to grey and black. Very little concentric banding is present in this mossy formation, as tubes and dendritic patterns are most common. Nellite/Lion Skin Tumbled Stones Nellite is also called Lion Skin and occurs at only one hill close to the tiger's eye mines in South Africa. Onyx Tumbled Stones These black onyx tumbled stones are a nice, solid black agate/chalcedony. Some pieces have deep crevasses from their surfaces which show a rusty reddish or tan color in them. A few may have small inclusions of quartz or other minerals, or even a little banding. All rock collectors, especially agate collectors, will appreciate these pieces! Opal Agate Tumbled Stones These whitish stones are very unique: a cross between common opal and agate. They are translucent, and most have some brown-black dendrites, moss or inclusions in them. Some also exhibit water-level banding and/or are crossed with a clear material, likely chalcedony, that may have filled in, in a ruin formation, that result in a crazed appearance. Polychrome Jasper XL Tumbled Stones - 1 Pound Polychrome - Latin words for 'many colors'! These beautiful, multicolored stone ranges from white to teal, to brown, to sky blue, to red/pink, to tan - an amazing variety!
