 Gold Sheen Obsidian Tumbled Stones   These well-polished tumbled stones look black from a distance, but have an amazing light play effect when viewed close up. From certain angles, the reflection of the light from various angles has a sparkly or gold-colored appearance. They look great in sunlight and for decor! Average size is about 1 inch long. Golden Quartz XL Tumbled Stones These unusual quartz tumbled stones have a strong golden color, but are not at all citrine. Their golden color comes from iron inclusions which mostly occurs in flat layers throughout the stones, and some also have some clear/white/dark gray quartz patches mixed in. All have some transparency; none are completely opaque. A unique quartz presentation for collectors and decor!   Size: ranges from about 1 1/2 inches to 2 1/2 inches in diameter.  Magnesite Tumbled Stones - 1 pound Classic white magnesite (also called howlite) with gray veins running through each piece. A grade! Great for rock collections, making jewelry, decor and craft projects, and therapy work. Looks similar to howlite. Size: from about 3/4" up to about 1 3/4" long, and from about 1/4" to 3/4" thick.  Midnight Lace Obsidian Tumbled Stones Here you buy 1 pound of highly tumbled pieces of Midnight Lace Obsidian. Each piece is light black and translucent, which may appear darker due to the density of each piece. The pieces contain black bandings, making each piece slightly different and unique.  Mookaite Jasper Tumbled Stones Mookaite is a fine porcelain jasper from Australia, a good, tough, durable stone with many lapidary purposes. What makes it so unique is its colors, which range from maroon to red, tan/gold to creamy white. Many pieces appear to be banded with many combinations of these colors. Some pieces hold traces of an orange inclusion, black dendrites and/or quartz veins.   Size: about 1 - 1.5 inches x 1 - 1.5 inches. About 10 - 14 pieces per pound. Black Moonstone Black Moonstone is a variety of feldspar. The color range is from darker brown to grey and black. Some of the pebbles have a schiller - also called adularescence - typically for moonstone. Some stones have  There are typically 3 to 6 pices per lb with 2 inch to 3 inch size. This black moonstone pebbles come from Madagascar and they are all individually polished by hand. Price per 1 lb Unit.

 Moonstone Tumbled Stones - 1 Pound These tumbled moonstones are all unique, not only because of their size and shape, but also because of their colors and patterns. The neutral earth tones are represented here, colors ranging from white to cream to gray to brownish-gray.  Green Moss Agate Tumbled Stones These green moss agates are green and white chalcedony, with some quartz and green jasper mixed in. Very little concentric banding is present in this mossy formation, as tubes and dendritic patterns are most common. These are a unique addition to the families of agates, and make great gifts for the agate collector who has everything! Nellite/Lion Skin Tumbled Stones Nellite is also called Lion Skin and occurs at only one hill close to the tiger's eye mines in South Africa. Lion Skin could remind of Pietersite but is still different. Nellite has a unique flash and sparkling shine mostly yellow sometimes with some blue too. A unique stone with nice pattern! Onyx Tumbled Stones These black onyx tumbled stones are a nice, solid black agate/chalcedony. Some pieces have deep crevasses from their surfaces which show a rusty reddish or tan color in them. A few may have small inclusions of quartz or other minerals, or even a little banding. All rock collectors, especially agate collectors, will appreciate these pieces!   Size: from about 3/4 to 1.25" long, about 1/2 to 1" wide, and about 1/4 to 5/8" thick. About 31-39 pieces per pound.  Opal Agate Tumbled Stones These whitish stones are very unique: a cross between common opal and agate. They are translucent, and most have some brown-black dendrites, moss or inclusions in them. Some also exhibit water-level banding and/or are crossed with a clear material, likely chalcedony, that may have filled in, in a ruin formation, that result in a crazed appearance. Traces of matrix and/or inclusions of other minerals may be present. A most interesting stone!   Size: from about 1 to 1.5" long, and from about 5/8 to 1" wide. About 40 pieces per pound.  Petrified Wood XL Tumbled Stones - 1 Pound These petrified wood pebbles are a great way to get quality pieces of petrified wood without taking up a lot of space. They are higly polished and smooth and enjoyable to hold, as they display the beautiful, typical patterns and colorations of the Madagascar petrified wood: reds, brown, and creams, with more unusual colors filling in some details. Some may also have vugs, which may have quartz crystals in them. Safe and non-reactive for aquariums and terrariums! Pinolite XL Tumbled StonesPinolite (also called pinolith) is only mined in one tiny area in the world - Austria, Europe! It is a magnesite that forms with dolomite and graphite. Pinolite is also called ice flower stone - just look at the magnesite crystals - they look like frost crystals on a window.The surface of our XL Tumbled Stones has a good finish and is very smooth.  Polychrome Jasper XL Tumbled Stones - 1 Pound Polychrome - Latin words for 'many colors'! These beautiful, multicolored stone ranges from white to teal, to brown, to sky blue, to red/pink, to tan - an amazing variety! Jasper is a very tough, durable stone that formed in layers of different colors. As each stone is tumble-polished, more colors become visible as one layer ends and another random color layer begins, resulting in unique pieces.  Size: pieces are about 1.5" to 3" long.  Pyrite (Fools Gold) Tumbled Stones, A Grade - 1 pound Genuine, heavy, golden, sparkly, metallic, tumbled pyrite! Each piece has vugs or irregular openings, ranging from very small to half the piece, that display the natural cubic crystals, giving them the sparkly appearance. Popularly known as 'fools gold', these A-grade pieces are 100% pure, with no other mineral inclusions or matrix. Rainbow Moonstone Tumbled Stones This rainbow moonstone is a natural white color with infrequent inclusions of black mica. In the same family as labradorite, the pieces can display a blue shimmer or schiller when light hits them at the right angle. Beautiful and fun to work with! Rock Crystal / Clear Quartz XL Tumbled Stones These are very good quality clear quartz pebbles. They are not precisely flat ovals, like our "soapstones," nor are they spheres, but they're somewhere in the middle of the two, and made of pure quartz, with no other minerals or matrix.
