Blue Lace Agate Chips/Small Rough Stones - 1 Pound
These blue lace agate pieces are from the famous mine (RECENTLY CLOSED!) in Namibia. Each piece displays various
light shades of banded blue agate, NOT unbanded chalcedony. The bands tend to run fairly straight, as the blue lace agate
is a seam formation between layers of host calcite. Translucent when thin, these are a great size for cabbing or other
lapidary work, and are also perfect for tumbling. May contain traces of brown calcite.
Size: from 1/4 inch to 1 inch long. 80 - 88 pieces per pound. Some are thin chips, others are small pieces.
