Pinolite Palm/Hand Stones
Pinolite (also called pinolith) is only mined in one tiny area in the world - Austria, Europe! It is a magnesite that forms with dolomite and graphite. Pinolite is also called ice flower stone because the magnesite crystals look like frost crystals on a window. Due to this structure, each piece is unique - you can see the beautiful patterns on our soapstones very well. The surface is very smooth and has a good finish.
Size: about 2 3/4 inches long, about 2 inches wide and 1/2 to 7/8 inches thick.
