This unique Nellite bead strand features an unusual mineral also known as Lion Skin. Mined in South Africa near traditional Tiger Eye deposits, Nellite is considered an intermediary stone between Tiger Eye and Pietersite.
The 6 mm round beads exhibit a high silica content, which grants them a distinctive translucency and a visual depth reminiscent of Labradorite. When viewed closely, the mineral's complex characteristics are clearly visible, while from a distance, the blue and golden/tan tones blend harmoniously, making these beads a versatile choice for various jewelry designs.
