This Hypersthene drop bead pendant is hand-carved from genuine hypersthene, a mineral celebrated for its dramatic optical properties. The stone displays a captivating shimmery silver-on-black light play, which is often compared to the chatoyancy found in star sapphires. Each piece is meticulously shaped into a large dew drop and highly polished to best showcase this metallic luster.
The pendant is drilled from side to side at the top with a hole diameter of approximately 3 mm. This size is ideal for use with leather cords, blank necklaces. Because each bead is hand-carved, every pendant is slightly unique in its exact dimensions and the intensity of its shimmer.
