Magnesite (Howlite) Tumbled Stones Micro - 1 Pound
This is beautiful undyed, white magnesite (also known as "howlite"), flecked with gray from the natural "webbing" look of rough magnesite, and a very uniform appearance. Very pure; as this variety of magnesite forms in masses, there is no matrix stone. A lighter-weight stone, so this has more mass than some of the other tumbled stones for the same weight. Good for gem trees, decor such as miniature landscape scenes and candle bowls, jewelry, rock art, and many other arts-and-crafts projects.
Size of pieces: from about 1/8 up to 3/8 inch long, but most are about 1/4 inch or less.
