Chrysoprase Rough Stones
Here you get a half-pound of good, green, gemmy chrysoprase. In general, these have very little matrix, and the green stone
is a good medium green, not too light and not too dark, although pieces vary. As a silica gemstone which is a variety of
chalcedony, this is similar to working with and polishing agate. The chrysoprase seam is from about .5" up to about 1.5" thick.
Many lapidary purposes!
Size: Most pieces are not very large. 1 lb is about 2 - 6 pieces. Pieces over 1 pound but under 2 pounds are available.
Unit for sale: 1 pound
Mined in Australia.
